Caffe Nero Update 2021 offers update

  • Free porridge till the 7th March 21 when you order a coffee via the app.
  • Click & Collect – Earn a free coffee voucher when you place your first order using Click & Collect
  • Unlock 4 free drinks in January – Each week in January you buy a barista-prepared drink using Click & Collect, unlock a voucher and enjoy your next drink for free. Valid until 31/01/21. Max 4 vouchers per customer but missed vouchers won’t carry over so don’t miss out!
  • Buy a reusable cup instore and unlock a voucher for your next barista-made drink. valid till 31/01/21 and only one voucher per customer. Costs around £11, is fully-recyclable and dishwasher safe. Unfortunately due to Covid they are not accepting reusable cups until further notice. I’m sure this offer will be available once Covid restrictions are lifted.
  • Uber Eats – Order from Uber Eats and get a home delivery of your favourite drink and choose from the extensive range of food on offer including plenty of Vegan options! Delivery fee for me would be £1.79 but this could be different for you. Chuck in your postcode to see if they deliver to you and how much it’ll cost.

How do you join the Caffe Nero loyalty scheme?

The Caffe Nero loyalty scheme has no fancy name (unlike Costa Coffee Club or My Starbucks Rewards). You can get a physical card from the shop or download the app to collect your stamps. You get one stamp for each Barista made drink and most food items (so not a bottle of water and a packet of crisps!)

Or you can download the app and use it in one of two ways.

  • Collect stamps only option. This way you use the app to collect stamps and pay any way you like.
  • Scan to pay and collect stamps option. You can register a payment card on the app to pay for your purchases
  • You don’t get any extra stamps for using your registered payment card, it is just for convenience

How do I earn my free coffee at Caffe Nero?

Nice and easy this one. You earn a stamp every time you buy a Barista made drink of any size. Collect 9 stamps and you get a free coffee of any size you like. There’s no time limits, the stamps don’t expire, no top -ups or faff.  So for not much more than a £20 spend, you have a free coffee. If you have a paper stamped card (we’ve all got one or two or more somewhere) you can get these transferred to the app. Just ask the Barista to do this for you.

Can you collect Caffe Nero stamps at Airports?

My first joy when landing and the thing that says ‘Welcome Home’ to us is walking out into the arrivals lounge and heading straight to a coffee shop. After a long flight that’s the perfect #SmallJoy. Our first choice is Costa but it’s a close thing with Caffe Nero. There’s usually one at the main Airports. You can collect Caffe Nero stamps at most Airports, just the same as anywhere else in the UK.

Can you collect Caffe Nero stamps abroad?

Unfortunately we haven’t found a Caffe Nero on our travels abroad. When we do we’ll let you know.

Are there other ways to get free coffee from Caffe Nero?

  • Invite a friend through the Caffe Nero app and you’ll earn two free drinks when they make their first purchase.  AND they get one too. Everyone’s a winner.
  • If you’re with O2, download the O2 Priority app and every Tuesday or Wednesday you can get a free coffee from Caffe Nero through the O2 priority app. You can claim your free coffee from midday on Tuesday until end of play on Wednesday. Use this quickly though as they do run out of freebies and they withdraw the offer.

What are the other benefits to joining the Caffe Nero Loyalty scheme?

You can earn a bonus stamp if you use your own re-useable cup. Buy a cheap £1 reusable cup from, dare I say it Starbucks as that’s the best value one, and hand it to the Barista. Your reusable cup must be clean and have a lid on it.

We have these reusable cups. Much nicer and well worth the £14.99.

When you refer a friend, as well as the 2 free coffees, your friend also receives 5 free stamps when they accept your referral.

Coffee cup sizes

They do 3 main cup sizes

  • Small which is 8fl.oz
  • Medium is 12fl.oz
  • Grande is 16fl.oz

Small, Medium and Large, oops I mean Grande. Strange one that.

Caffe Nero Christmas offers

Caffe Nero have an advent calendar on their app leading up to Xmas. Make sure you turn on notifications or check your email, and every day they reveal a new offer like 25% off pastries, cakes and free snacks. On Christmas Eve you get a free coffee. Merry Christmas.

On the app there is also random Christmas cracker which you can tap to see if you have won a festive treat. You may also receive a golden stamp when you make a purchase through the app , which is another free stamp with a special offer.

This is by far the most generous Coffee Loyalty Scheme.
